DETROIT, Aug. 28, 2025 ~ The first high school football “Drive to the Game” ended in dramatic fashion, as the Northville Mustangs survived 14-13 against the Lake Orion Dragons at Wayne State Thursday night.
Lake Orion junior quarterback Anderson Adams scored a rushing touchdown late in the fourth quarter but a missed point after attempt kept the game uneven. The Dragons would then recover an onside kick, but ultimately throw a game sealing interception in the end zone after a holding penalty moved them out of field goal range.
