DEARBORN, MI, Aug. 1, 2025 ~ Ford Motor Co. has set a record this year, but it’s not one the company would like to make.
The automaker has issued 90 recalls so far this year, surpassing any other automaker in history for the most recalls in a year. Jamie LaReau, automotive reporter for The Detroit Free Press, said the recalls span millions of vehicles, including high-profile electric vehicle models like the Mustang Mach E, with the company working on improving quality control in its vehicles.
