ALLEN PARK, July 25, 2025 ~ After a horrific leg injury that kept him sidelined for more than half of the regular season and the playoffs, Detroit Lions‘ defensive end Aidan Hutchinson is back on the field and ready to continue his dominant performances.
“I have my best seasons coming back from something,” Hutchinson told 760 WJR Correspondent Nick Lundberg. “We are going to be shooting for that same trend.”

(CONTINUED) In five games during the 2024 season, Hutchinson recorded 7.5 sacks, 12 solo tackles, and a forced fumble. The former Michigan Wolverine star was on pace to lead the league in sacks before breaking both his tibia and fibia.
Hutchinson’s progression has been on full display during training camp. During the first day of pads, he beat All-Pro offensive tackle Penei Sewell which would have ended up as a sack in a game scenario.
