DETROIT, June 25, 2025 ~ The 2025 Delta Dental Pro-Am took place Wednesday at the Detroit Golf Club. Held annually as part of Rocket Classic week, the Pro-Am pairs PGA Tour professionals, local celebrities, and amateur golfers for a round of golf ahead of the main tournament. The event serves as a platform for community engagement and charitable fundraising, while also providing fans with an opportunity to meet their favorite stars.
World No. 5 Collin Morikawa praised the event, calling it “a fun and relaxed way to connect with fans and local personalities.” He said he enjoys the energy of the day and the opportunity to play alongside celebrity athletes from other sports. Morikawa added that events like the Pro-Am help “humanize the game” and bring new audiences into golf.
