DETROIT June 16, 2025 ~ Detroit’s east side will come alive with bikes, music, and community spirit during the 2025 Bike Summit at Chandler Park.
The 2025 Detroit Bike Summit, hosted by the Office of Mobility Innovation and community partners, will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 28, at Chandler Park. The theme of this year’s summit, “Eastside Bound,” aims to celebrate clean transportation and community on the east side.
“Detroiters deserve access to safe, fun, and convenient ways to get around their neighborhoods,” said Tim Slusser, chief of the Office of Mobility Innovation. “We’re excited to bring the Bike Summit to Chandler Park and highlight the importance of active mobility and community-led solutions.”

(CONTINUED) The event will highlight Chandler Park’s significance to the city and is open to all ages and all levels of bike experience. The summit will showcase Detroit’s commitment to creating safe, accessible streets and promoting inclusive, equitable transportation for all.
In addition to a full seven-mile bike ride, attendees can enjoy food trucks, music, raffles, and more on site. The first 100 registered participants will receive a complimentary lunch, courtesy of the event sponsors.
This event is free and open to the public.
