MICHIGAN, May 21, 2025 ~ One of Michigan‘s most powerful families is setting up a political strategy to push for a GOP takeover of the state in the 2026 mid-term elections.
According to a recent report from the Detroit News, the controversial DeVos family is setting up an operation to reverse the recent Democrat-leaning swing in Michigan politics, with former state Rep. Shane Hernandez and former Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel reportedly being tapped to help with the effort. The family has already given $5 million to a PAC supporting GOP Rep. John James (MI-10) in his bid to become governor.
