A probable cause hearing is scheduled for today for a man and a woman charged in the carjacking of an 88 year old woman in Livonia.
The victim had just parked her car in the lot of the Wal Mart store on Plymouth Road.
It was just before 4pm on September 18th.
She said she was walking to get a shopping cart when she was knocked to the ground as her pursed and keys were gabbed and the attackers jumped into her car and drove off.
Witnesses say the attack and from their information, police were able to make an arrest at 11 o’clock that night.
Charged in the case are 38 year old Jason Malinas of Sterling Heights and 41 year old Jessica Saint Clair of Wayne.
