Amazon Key In-Car delivers packages to the trunk, beginning with newer-model GM and Volvo vehicles. You have to be a member of Amazon Prime to use the service. And your vehicle must have remote access.
The trunk will be popped via digital access.
An app will notify the customer before and after a delivery. The vehicle must be parked in a public accessible area.
The service coincides with Amazon Key, which allows package delivery inside a customers’ front door to homes with digital access.
