Four Toledo teenagers charged with killing a Macomb County man when they threw a sandbag onto the I-75 freeway are due back in court today.
The four boys, who range in age from 13 to 15, are being tried as juveniles.
Police say Marquise Byrd was going to meet friends in Toledo on December 19th when a construction sandbag smashed through the passenger side front window of the car he was riding in.
He was hit in the head and killed.
The female driver was not injured.
Prosecutors say the teens had thrown several items on to the freeway that night and have been charged with murder.
Byrd was engaged to be married and had a one year old son.
