She made news on the TV show Jeopardy.
Now, she’s making news for being a computer hacker.
47 year old Stephanie Jass of Tecumseh had gone on a seven day winning streak on the show in October of 2012 and won about 166-thousand dollars.
She was arraigned early this month for hacking into the e-mail account of a former worker at Adrian college.
Police had began an investigation after being contacted by a staff member at the college.
Officials believe she may have accessed several of the school’s accounts back in April.
Jass was identified as a former history professor at Adrian.
She’s due in court today for a preliminary exam.
The charges against her could send her to prison for over seven years.
