It’s a gesture that we’ve all seen …someone using their hand and fingers to mimic the firing of a pistol.
Often it’s just a joke.
But it wasn’t funny to school officials and the Wayne County Prosecutors Office.
A staff member saw a 14 year old boy make the gesture toward another student.
Police were called and he was charged with disturbing the peace.
He’s due in court today for a pre-trial hearing.
His attorney says the charges are overblown.
