Yet another Detroit family is calling for an end to violence in Detroit, after a man was gunned down on the west side.
The victim was found in the driveway of his home.
Neighbors say they heard 32 year old Deante Box scream ‘no’ and then heard gunshots, outside the house on Ohio near Curtis. His body was found on the ground. As police investigate, his aunt says she can’t understand why anyone would want him dead.
“He would do anything for anybody. This all has to end,” she said.
Deante Box was a small businessman. His family says he owned a floral shop, “Something Unique” in Lathrup Village, and several rental houses. Police are looking for the killer.
