Fire officials tell WJR News that they are still investigating the cause of an early afternoon house fire but think an illegal marijuana grow operation may be to blame. Two people were inside the home on Merrick Street at the time of the blaze. Both people were injured. Their conditions are unknown. The house is on Merrick Street between Ecorse and Hayes.
