Pedestrian Hit And Killed In Westland

Westland police say a man in his 50’s who was hit by a vehicle this morning has died.

The accident happened at Michigan Avenue and Merriman Road .

The man was crossing a median when he was struck. Police say the driver stopped and was cooperative.
