A Lincoln Park man is charged with the hit and run death of Detroit Police Officer Myron Jarrett.
Police caught Steven Guzina after they say Guzina hit the officer as he was next to another vehicle in a traffic stop last Friday night.
Detroit Police have also found and questioned a woman who was a passenger in the vehicle that struck and killed Officer Jarrett.
She appears to have suffered a possible injury to her right arm in surveillance video. Police say they found her checked into a hospital.
Police say she ran from the scene with Guzina after Guzina ran over officer Jarrett as he stood outside his squad car.
Officer Jarrett was 40, an 8 year veteran of the force, and the married father of 4.
