Detroit firefighters are putting out a massive vacant apartment building fire on the city’s west side.
It’s happening on Tyler, near Davison and Dexter.
The fire is arson and that multiple fires were set in the basement which spread to the rest of the building. this building is the scene of a previous fire. it’s expected to collapse, and firemen are pouring water on the building.
This fire comes during the 3-day Angels’ Night patrols in Detroit. Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan the number of fires were no more than average.
Detroit had several house fires overnight. The fire department says they were in occupied houses and are not suspicious.
