Who delivered bribes to a Clinton Twp. elected official, charged in federal court?
49 year old Dean Reynolds, a township trustee, is free on bond. Reynolds is charged with taking up to $70,000 in bribes from a township contractor in exchange for his vote and help in getting a township contract. The company that delivered bribes is not named in court documents. The Free Press says the investigation centers on Rizzo Environmental Services, the trash hauler that works in a number of communities. Rizzo says it’s cooperating with the federal investigation. Possible corruption is also being investigated in other communities, primarily in Macomb County, according to the FBI in the court documents. Reynolds, a Democrat, is running for township supervisor.
