Another clown encounter, this time in West Bloomfield. This clown had a big knife.
A 17-year-old boy jogging along Pontiac Trail near Haggerty tells police someone in a clown-type outfit came out of a wooded area and came at him.
The person was wearing a mask and a red wig or ear muffs and had a large butcher’s knife.
The teen ran and called police. A white SUV was seen in the area after the clown sighting disappeared.
Police say it is the fourth clown encounter in the township in about two weeks.
