Hillary Clinton widens her lead to 12 percentage points in a new statewide poll for The Detroit News and WDIV.
Clinton led Trump 42 percent to 30 percent in a poll conducted after the second debate Sunday night.
The poll showed Clinton with a 2 to 1 lead among women.
In the Detroit area Clinton leads by 18 points. Clinton leads by five points in outstate Michigan.
A poll taken for Fox 2 News shows Clinton ahead by 10 points.
