They thought it was funny to threaten people while dressed as clowns.
Two 18-year-old women dressed as clowns were arrested in Roseville after chasing two 14-year-old girls.
According to police, Jaime Scilinis and Elandra Sledge jumped out of a vehicle on Minnesota Street and chased the girls, threatening to kill them.
The girls ran away and went to the Roseville Police Department .
Officers went to the area and found the 18 year olds dressed as clowns and they attempted to flee on foot. They were chased and taken into custody. Scilinis and Sledge were arraigned and ordered jailed until they could post bond on misdemeanor charges of disorderly conduct.
Roseville Police say they told officers they thought it was “funny to terrorize unsuspecting pedestrians.”
