Heavy rain is causing freeway flooding in SE Michigan.
Especially hard hit is the Lodge Freeway M-10 at Cobo Center. The low-lying freeway going into and out of Cobo is the scene of high water, with several vehicles abandoned in the water.
Scattered flooding exists on several freeways, mostly at spots which frequently collect water during heavy rain.
DTE reports several thousand scattered power outages. That includes traffic signals that are out in many areas.
Rain is in the forecast into the weekend.
