Follow Up To Smash And Grab

Police are still looking for four men who staged a smash and grab robbery at Tapper’s Jewelry Store inside the 12 Oaks Mall in Novi. Police say the thieves used a hammer to smash into a display case. The sound of the hammer was mistaken for a gunshot. The mall was put on lockdown. There was no gunfire. The suspects got away with an undisclosed number of items. The four black males were believed to have been driving a gold Chrysler 200.
