Voters in Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties have passed a Detroit’s Zoo millage renewal.
The measure passed with overwhelming support.
The millage, which was first approved in 2008, raises about one-third of the Zoo’s $35 million yearly budget.
It had been scheduled to expire in 2018.
