Police are investigating after a 50-year-old Detroit woman was stabbed to death in the 1400 block of Bewick.
Police said the woman was attacked around 3 p.m. in the kitchen of the home by her 27 year old foster son.
Neighbors said they heard the victim fighting outside her home.
The woman was stabbed multiple times.
Neighbors said the victim spent her life caring for kids in the state foster care system.
Police said the man who stabbed her is in custody.
