Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette is scheduled to be a speaker at the opening day of the Republican National Convention in Cleveland. Schuette is scheduled to speak briefly to the convention. Gov. Snyder is not expected to attend the convention at all. Snyder is expected to show up for a function off the site involving the Michigan delegation. Mitt Romney, the party’s nominee 4 years ago and a Michigan native, will not attend the convention.
