Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim is claiming an armed military unit is attempting to seize control of Turkey’s government, according to the country’s state news agency. The military rebels have both of Istanbul’s Bosphorus Bridges closed blocking the flow of traffic. The Turkish military has released a statement claiming that they have “seized full control of Turkey to maintain democratic order,” while Prime Minister Binali claims the uprising is ?against the will of the people,” and that “those who attempted this will pay the heaviest price.”
