A Detroit police officer has been wounded in a shooting on Detroit’s West Side.
It happened on the 15000 block of Prairie.
Police say the officer approached a suspect in the street and the suspect pulled a gun. There was a struggle.
Police say the suspect fired and the bullet hit the suspect’s hand, and the hand of the officer.
The police officer and the suspect are expected to be okay. The gunman is in custody.
