It’s not business as usual at the Detroit city hall. The Coleman Young municipal building is on a lockdown as police and Wayne County deputies look for what may be a man with a gun. Many workers were ordered to leave the building and others are told to stay at their workplaces, and lock themselves in. Authorities say they are looking for a white man in his early to mid 50s, who is wearing a dark-colored suit.
No one allowed in, and now workers are not being allowed out, at the Coleman Young building in downtown Detroit. The building, at 2 Woodward Avenue, is the home of city of Detroit offices and some Wayne County Circuit Court offices.
