Police in Macomb County are looking for a burglar who broke into a building in Mt. Clemens and stole several items. Sheriff’s deputies don’t have to go too far to investigate. The burglar broke into the Macomb County Administrative Building, which houses Macomb County government offices.
The sheriff’s department says the man got in through a temporary construction entrance. He stole a defibrillator, an Apple I-pod, and two cash registers from the County Treasurer’s office. The burglar threw the cash drawers away when he discovered they were empty.
Police have surveillance video. They’re trying to determine the man’s identity.
