An Amber Alert is out for a 13-year-old Detroit boy who police say might have been kidnapped.
Deontae Mitchell was last seen about 10:30pm Tuesday night, with his cousin outside Nino’s Market at 15901 E. Warren.
Police said Mitchell’s cousin told them a man dropped some money outside the market, and Mitchell picked it up. The two left the market on bikes. The cousin said Mitchell was grabbed by a black man in a black 2002 Chevy Impala. The Impala had a loud muffler.
The man might be carrying a pistol and should be considered armed and dangerous.
Mitchell is described as 4 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs 86 pounds. He was wearing a lime green Nautica shirt, gray jogging pants and black gym shoes.
