Two people were killed in a car crash on Detroit’s west side. One of the victims was in a wheelchair on the sidewalk.
The accident happened when a Chevy Malibu slammed into a Chevrolet Impala at Greenfield and Chalfonte.
The driver of the Impala, a 51-year-old man, was killed. When the Impala went onto the sidewalk, a man in a wheelchair was struck and killed. A 5-year-old boy was in the Impala is in stable condition.
The woman at fault fled the scene. But Detroit Police found her a short time later, in a hospital. She is under arrest and will be charged.
