Five of seven people charged in a scheme to steal money from Motor City casino have pleaded guilty.
Police say Darryl Green of Detroit worked as a dealer and conspired with friends to make payouts on losing bets or not collect payment on lost bets. Investigators said the other six people involved knew Green.
Pleading guilty are Roxanna Mckinney of Farmington Hills, Eugene Davis of Detroit,
Hayward Stampley of West Bloomfield, Calvin Pullom of Detroit, and
Earl Railey of Detroit. Railey is a habitual criminal.
The other two defendants, Green and Leah Smith, are scheduled to appear in court Friday.
