It was another violent weekend in the city and one of the victims was a teenager. A 15-year-old girl remains in critical condition after being shot on Hazelwood. Police say they have no suspects in custody.
Detroit police also are investigating a shooting on the city’s west side. Investigators say a 35-year-old woman shot her 25-year boyfriend in chest Saturday morning in the 3500 block of Fourth Street near Martin Luther King and the Lodge Freeway. He is dead. The woman is in custody.
In addition, Detroit police are looking for help in their investigation into a fatal shooting near 6 Mile and Livernois. The body of a 25-year-old man was found on the front lawn of a home on Lilac street. He had been shot. Police are looking for any possible witnesses.
