Detroit Police have found a 3-month-old girl who went missing after the car she was in was stolen on Detroit’s east side.
An Amber Alert had been issued for the baby, Dakota Grimes, after police said she was sleeping in the back seat of a white 2006 Chevy Impala when her father left the car running, with the baby in it, to go into a liquor store at 16636 Harper. When he came out, the car and the baby were gone.
The baby was found safe on a porch about a mile from where the car was stolen. Police are looking for the car.
