Police are investigating in Pontiac where a woman’s body was found in the middle of the street. The woman has been identified as 25-year-old Shalita Hunter of Southfield. According to reports, Hunter’s mother says it appears as if she was shot in the head. Two men were driving in the area of North Roselawn and Maines streets when they found Hunter bleeding in the road. Police say it looks like someone dumped her body after shooting. It’s unclear if this was a robbery gone wrong, but her car and belongings are missing. Anyone with information is asked to call police. The family has set up a GoFundMe page to help with her funeral expenses.
