The man who sprayed a mouse poison mixture on grocery store food will undergo a mental evaluation after being charged with poisoning food.
Kyle Bessemer appeared in court for a hearing and admitted that he sprayed the mixture of hand sanitizer, water and mouse poison on produce and food bars at three Ann Arbor stores. Investigators have said he believed someone was trying to poison him. Bessemer will be under house arrest at his mother’s house, where he lives. She has previously said that he suffers from mental illness.
