The trial for one of two men accused of shooting at a federal judge is underway. Judge Terrence Berg took the stand in the case Tuesday afternoon and told the court what happened the night he was shot on his front porch last year. Police say 23-year-old Kevin Smith was the one who shot berg in a botched robbery attempt.
Berg says he was retrieving garbage cans from his curb when two men approached him and told him they had a gun and they wanted to go into his house. Here is part of his testimony
