Kentucky Derby fav named after Wings player gets a visit with the Stanley Cup

Nyquist is the favorite in Saturday’s Kentucky Derby  —  and the horse has local ties. Canadian Paul Reddam, who is his owner, is big Detroit Red Wings fan. He named the horse after Red Wings player Gustav Nyquist. Perhaps fittingly, Nyquist got a visit from the Stanley Cup.
