A warning has been issued about dangerous lead levels in the drinking water in Detroit schools. Heath officials are urging parents of children under 6 to have them tested for lead. The warning was issued after the district found dangerous levels of lead in the water supply at many schools in the district. More than a dozen schools had lead at dangerous levels One school was 100 times the allowable limit of lead according to test results. So far over 50 schools have been tested and there are more coming up. Bottled water is available in classrooms and lead testing for kids are being given out.
