Thousands without power in northern Oakland and Macomb Counties

Several thousand DTE customers in Northern Oakland and Macomb Counties are waking up without power. Shelby Township Police say traffic accident on 26 Mile Road between Schoenherr and Hayes brought down power lines down. The road is also closed in both directions.
