Novi police are looking for a woman who took off during a traffic stop and dragged an officer who had stopped her. The officer pulled the woman over on Haggerty near 9 Mile.
The woman, who has some warrants on her record, also had two children in the car. The woman would not get out of the car but said she needed to make a phone call to find arrangements for the children, the woman tried closing the door and then officer grabbed onto her arm. The woman drove away, dragging the officer for 20 to 25 yards,
The officer is okay, but police said they are still looking for the woman.
