Most of us don’t want to ride in a self-driving car. A survey for AAA Michigan says that 75% of American drivers are afraid to ride in a self-driving car.
The survey also says drivers who currently own a vehicle that is equipped with semi-autonomous features are 75% more likely to trust self-driving cars.
Consumer demand for autonomous technology in cars and trucks is still high. 61% of drivers say they want at least one of the current features in their cars.
The survey says most drivers trust their driving skills more than the new technology.
