A 21-year-old man was killed after being stabbed in an apartment in Macomb Township, the stabber is in custody. He says it was self defense. Brian Dequan Shepard was killed after being stabbed during a fight with his roommate. When sheriff’s deputies arrived at the Northport apartment complex on Garfield Road, the roommate told deputies that he acted in self-defense. The man was taken to the Macomb County Jail.
