The woman who stabbed her mother with a knife outside the GM Tech Center was arraigned Friday morning on attempted murder charges. Authorities say that 32-year-old Chabonne Taylor showed up where her mother work at the GM Tech Center and stabbed her nine times. The family says daughter has mental problems.
The mother, 52-year-old Stephanie Kerr remains hospitalized. She was stabbed multiple times with a steak knife. It could have been worse, but a valet who had a license to carry a weapon pulled out a gun and stopped the attack. It had been reported that the valet, 32-year-old Didarul Sarder, had been fired after the incident but GM says that is not the case.
