Governor Rick Snyder laid out his blueprint for $195 million in new aid to help deal with Flint’s contaminated water problem. The governor presented his budget plan for next year. The governor says hIs proposed $54.9 billion budget plan includes just the beginning of the help that Flint will need in the long term to help deal with the water crisis. Some money in Snyder’s Flint plan is supposed to be targeted at infrastructure issues in the city.
